2020: Envisioning the Future of Global Energy
The UC Berkeley Energy Symposium is a student-run conference that brings together researchers, business leaders, policymakers, and students to discuss energy issues facing our time. The 4th annual Symposium, themed “2020: Envisioning the Future of Global Energy”, explores how policy, technology, and business practice will shape the energy landscape around the world. The coming decade will see a drastic change in the way energy is generated and consumed and this conference will take a critical look at the challenges and opportunities that will be presented.

The UC Berkeley Energy Symposium is a student organized event and will take place on Wednesday, March 3rd and Thursday March 4th. Wednesday will feature our first-ever Innovation Expo, an event that will highlight cutting-edge technologies being developed by the University of California, Berkeley and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Thursday’s Symposium will feature two keynote speakers and 12 separate panels discussing a variety of insightful energy topics. We are excited to once again bring together key members of the energy community and look forward to seeing you at this year’s event!
