The Village of Salado will be hosting the 1st Annual Renewable Energy Stampede and Green Living Fair. With two key note speakers, 100 exhibitors and 30 tent talks this green fair will be the largest in Central Texas.
April 17 & 18, 2010.
2 Days of Workshops, Talks, Tours, Exhibitors and more!
Show Hours – Saturday, 9 am – 6 pm & Sunday, 9 am – 3 pm
Exhibitors will showcase the latest in renewable energy, green building, energy efficiency and sustainable living. The only place in central Texas this Spring to see the latest technologies and be able to visit with the folks who bring them to you.

This is awesome, I wish they had something like this closer to me.
I followed the link to the website and that’s a great idea. Too bad I don’t live in Texas anymore or I would definitely go! I think that holding LOCAL workshops and fairs such as this one is a much better way of educating and changing how people treat this planet than the “summit” that was help last month that basically turned into a big flop and got nothing done.
Renewable energy really plays an important role in the supply of energy. However, the use of renewable sources are limited by the fact that they are not always available. Cloudy days reduce solar power; calm days reduce wind power; and droughts reduce the water available for hydropower. Above all, Renewable energy is very remarkable.
This is a great show to bring to Central Texas.I hope we have one yearly.
