Those who pass the open book exam become IGSHPA Accredited and NATE Certified geothermal heat pump installers. Course also includes a hands on pipe fusion training and certificate. This course is required to access some government incentives, some product distributors require it of their dealers, and some engineers restrict bid lists to IGSHPA Certified installers. Quite simply, this is the foundational course for any serious geothermal installer.
