Comments Off Attend the 8th in our series of Sustainable Manufacturing American Regional Tours (SMARTs) – This SMART will focus on energy efficiency and sustainability in the forest products sector.
This no-cost event will feature a morning session, hosted by MWV (MeadWestvaco) at the company’s headquarters, and an afternoon site visit to the Smurfit-Stone West Point facility, which has implemented a number of successful energy efficiency projects. The morning session will include presentations from the American Forest & Paper Association and federal and state resource providers, and several companies in the industry will present on their experiences with energy efficiency and sustainability.
