Solar:
Despite a strong sun, more than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and a mean radiation corresponding to 4.8 KWh/m2/jour, solar energy is very poorly developed.

Wind Power:
Given the past difficulties in Lebanon, wind power is confined to a few small generators producing up to 10KW. The significant investment capacity existing in the country suggests development of wind energy when regulations are lifted.
