The National Algae Association and BARD Holding are co-sponsoring the Algae Growing, Harvesting and Extraction Technologies Collaboration, Strategic Alliances and Networking Conference on May 19, 2011. The event will focus on progress in algae growing, harvesting and extraction methods, along with proven technologies that are ready for commercial-scale algae production. NOAH, Drexel University and CBO Financial have been added to the agenda, which also includes updates on NAA’s newly created Oil Specs Committee and BARD’s successes, representatives from the University of New Hampshire, Millipore, BARD-ABS (JV), Aztek Solutions, Algae Venture Systems, Novak Druce and Solutions4CO2 are among the committed speakers. Fluid Imaging Technologies will provide free on-site algae oil analyses, and the day will end with a tour of BARD’s facilities.

Registration is required; fees are $150 (student/researcher/govt/non-profit), $200 (NAA members) and $250 (non-members)
