Comments Off The German American Chamber of Commerce will host the 2nd Texas Offshore Wind Energy Roundtable (TOWER) Conference as well as the Offshore Wind Law (OWL) Conference in 2011 in Houston, TX. The conferences will offer a forum to exchange and foster transatlantic cooperation in the field of offshore wind energy. Simultaneous with the TOWER Conference, a side panel entitled “Offshore Wind Law” (OWL) will be offered. Attorneys will get a crucial understanding of the unique combination of laws governing Texas offshore wind energy development and learn how those laws make Texas a streamlined market opportunity. Last year this course was approved as a Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of Texas Committee on MCLE for the amount of 9.25 credit hours. It is expected that a similar amount of MCLE credit points will be offered in 2011.
